When idle or light usage, all temp sensors stay around mid to high 30Cs. Seems to be working well but I heard GPU fans are fragile so I'm worried about keeping them at 50% when idle. 50% speed until 50C, 100% at 80C, and a gradual slope in between. Manually overclocking the RAM looks way too hard so I opted for this.ĬPU Cooler, Case Fans, and GPU Fans all have the same fan curves. 900mV would crash some games so I increased it to 950mV. GPU Undervolt: Smart Access Memory ON, Min Frequency 2300MHz, Max Frequency 2400MHz, Voltage 950mV, VRAM Timing Fast, VRAM Max Frequency 2112 MHz, Power Limit 15%Īlso based on a well-received YouTube tutorial. 30 all cores wouldn't let me boot so I dropped it to -20.

Windows Settings: HDR OFF, Variable Refresh Rate OFF, Power Plan BalancedĬonservative with these settings as well for the same reason as the display settings.ĬPU Undervolt: PBO Advanced, Limits Off, Curve Optimizer -20 all cores I stayed a bit more conservative with these settings because many seem to be pretty "gimmicky" and not thoroughly made by Lenovo. I have Virtual Super Resolution and GPU scaling off because I'm worried about the performance impact.ĭisplay Settings: DCR OFF, Dark Boost OFF, Freesync Auto, HDR Auto, Color Neutral, sRGB OFF, Low Blue Light OFF, Energy Saving Mode ON, DP Select 1.4, Overdrive Normal My monitor should support 10-Bit Pixel Format but people have complained about glitches and issues.

Radeon Software Settings: Anti-Lag ON, Radeon Image Sharpening ON 80%, Enhanced Sync OFF, 10-Bit Pixel Format OFF, Adaptive Sync Compatible ON, Virtual Super Resolution OFF, GPU Scaling OFF, Color Depth 10bpcĮnhanced Sync is said to be really good, but my fps seems to set to unlimited when I have it on which I don't like. Will my PC be okay at 1440p 165hz? Also, I've seen some people say that it is actually bad for the fps to be the same as the refresh rate. However, I am worried about pushing my PC too hard so I currently have my monitor capped at 120hz and my games seem to automatically set themselves to 120ish fps. I was able to get a 165hz 1440p FreeSync Premium monitor on sale. I did my best setting them but I would like to know your opinions because some of you guys are super tech gurus. Hello everyone! I recently built a new gaming PC (see parts list at bottom) but I am very paranoid about "pushing it too hard" or not having the optimal settings.
